We make the measurability of our R&D results one of our primary tasks. We want to show to the world that semantic technologies are becoming reality. Find out more about our results and our spin-off companies.

Pervasive Computing as a research field has attracted a significant number of researchers from various disciplines. Pervasive Computing is well on its way to define a whole new era of computing. The nature and appearance of computing has started to be hidden in the fabric of everyday life, invisibly networked, and augmenting environments to form a pervasive computing landscape, in which the physical world becomes merged with a “digital world”. Researchers from all over the world came together in Munich at PERVASIVE 2005 to discuss advances in enabling technologies, to present innovative applications and services, and to reflect on the potentials and risks of pervasive computing. In this book we compile the contribution from the doctoral colloquium, the track on late breaking results, the research demonstrations, and the video papers.
