Todays email systems allow to attach large files such as multimedia files to an email. If sufficient bandwidth and storage capacity on the receiver side is given, this is a very convenient way to exchange large documents. However, if bandwidth or storage capacity are limited/expensive, or if there are multiple receivers of the same document, this kind of document exchange has significant disadvantages. In this thesis a more convenient way from the receiver perspective to distribute large documents based on space-based computing shall be developed and implemented. Experiences in software development, in particular GUI integration, are beneficial.
