Devices in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network talk directly to each other instead of using central servers. The goal of this thesis is to develope a simple P2P application by use of JXME. The goal of the JXME project is to bring JXTA functionality to mobile devices running the Java 2 Platform Micro Edition (J2ME). The thesis consists however not only of coding. Much effort will have to be put in evaluating various aspects of J2ME, the J2ME Wireless Toolkit and JXTA/JXME.
