Responsibilities:

• High-quality research
• Participation in research projects
• Funding acquisition and management of research projects
• Writing of research papers (workshops, conferences, journals) and participation in conferences, meetings
• Graduate and undergraduate teaching, examination activities
• Supervision of students
• Administrative tasks

Required qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science or comparable discipline, preferably related to semantic technologies 
• Publications in high-level international journals and conferences
• Teaching experience
• Research interest in areas such as Semantic Web technology, natural language processing and understanding, reasoning and graph‐based data repositories, symbolic machine learning and deep learning technologies
• Good English language skills, knowledge of German is an advantage
• Willingness to work in an international team
• Willingness to combine formal research with real-world practice in national and international projects
• Experience in grant applications and project management is an advantage
