Mobile WLAN Simulator
Mobile entities (persons, cars, trains etc.) follow typical movement patterns, which are well researched and projected into a variety of existing mobility models. A common question in networking research is how well are mobile entities covered by one or more network base stations (e.g. for optimization of the network design). The aim of this thesis is to go one step further, and make also the network base stations mobile. Thus, a simulator has to be developed which allows to analyse e.g. the coverage of mobile receivers when the base station (e.g. WLAN hotspot) also follows a movement pattern (e.g. in a Train).
