The Web Service Modeling Language (WSML) project develops a formal language for semantically describing various aspects of web services like their functionality, dynamic behaviour, non-functional properties and so on. This language matured significantly over the last months and reached a stable state. There exists already an API and a parser based on a previous and unmature release of the WSML syntax.
The goal of this work is to enhance the parser/serializer to reflect the current state of WSML and to provide the facilities to deal with ASCII as well as XML/RDF representation of WSML. Moreover it is desired to improve the error handling and messaging of the parser. We are looking for students having good knowledge in JAVA and desing patterns (Software Development 2/3). Knowledge about parser/compiler development and logics are certainly a plus.
